Finally - I can breathe again. I got my last scholarship, and I am mentioned on this very special list: List 2012-2013 Belgian Fulbright Grantees.
I am very happy and also, very proud. I'll be leaving for the States in August, and I'll be staying there for about a year. I might stay a while longer, I might never ever return. I don't know that. But I do know that I am happy, more than ready to fly out (as birds do).
The last few days have been extremely exhausting, and the next few days will be quite hard too. Something big happened, but I am handling it as an adult. I guess I grew up. Finally, a little bit. I got hurt by life, but I am sure I will heal just fine. And so we grow older and wiser, while staying foolish and sometimes undecided. Life is what you make of it. So I am trying to make the most of it.
(I bought this book for my brother's 24th birthday.)
